Sebium Active Foaming Gel is specifically formulated for acne-prone skin, so that it can act on the causes as well as consequences of these imperfections from the cleansing step:

the combination of salicylic acid and glycolic acid helps unclog the pores, reduce blemishes and refine the skin texture
zinc gluconate regulates shine
caprylyl/capryl glucoside: mild cleansing base gently cleanses while respecting the skin’s balance
optimal pH which helps achieve the best compromise between efficacy and good tolerance.

Sebium Active Foaming Gel can be used morning and/or evening until imperfections disappear.

Step 1 Lather the gel in your wet hands and apply by gently massaging the skin.
Step 2 Rinse thoroughly.
Step 3 Dry gently.

In case of discomfort: slight redness (…), apply only every other day.

If irritation persists, stop using product and consult a healthcare professional.

Avoid using Sebium Active Foaming Gel in association with isotretinoin or treatments with a high keratolytic content.

For thin, sensitive skin, a gentle purifying cleanser such as Sebium foaming gel is preferable.

Acne-prone skin is a chronic inflammatory disease due to hormonal imbalance, excess poor-quality sebum and the proliferation of C.acnes bacteria.

Acne combines two types of lesions:

Comedonal: microcysts and comedones (often called blackheads).
Inflammatory: papules, pustules or nodules, which can result in the formation of scars.

Acne’s severity ranges from minor forms, referred to as “physiological”, to extremely severe forms. Cleansing is a key step in managing this disease.
