Apply several times a day when exposed to the sun. Can be used alone or as a make-up base. Shake well before use.

  • Step 1 Cleanse your face with Sensibio AR+ Micellar gel
  • Step 2 Shake well before use. Apply evenly and generously daily to face and neck before sun exposure (a small amount of product lowers the level of sun protection).
  • Step 3 Reapply after sweating, swimming or towel drying to maintain protection.

UV radiation is the primary environmental triggering and aggravating factor of Rosacea, directly aggravating the skin's biological mechanisms. Sun exposure stimulates innate immunity (TLR2/ LL-37) resulting in VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) activation, accelerating the formation of new blood vessels and neurogenic inflammation.

 

This hypersensitivity is further triggered by factors such as emotional stress, spicy food, hot drinks, alcohol, temperature changes, and irritant cosmetics. The pathology is defined by a dysregulation of innate immunity, an excessive nervous response, a  neurogenic inflammation leading to a vascular instability. These defects drive clinical symptoms ranging from transient flushing and persistent redness to small visible blood vessels and, in severe cases, bumps or skin thickening. Crucially, visible signs are accompanied by non-visible symptoms such as burning, stinging, tightness, and dryness.
