Photoderm Pediatrics Mineral SPF50+ is the result of Bioderma’s skin biology expertise put at use to cater to children’s skin specific needs.

 Bioderma advanced research has developed the SUN BARRIER TECHNOLOGY  : our high technology sun protection was tailored to protect babies’ delicate skin's self-defence abilities under sun exposure.

This technology combines UV filters, Vitamin E naturally present in the skin and apricot kernel oil for an input of biomimetic lipids & provides a triple protection:

- Broad spectrum UV protection, optimised against short and long UVA

- Antioxidant protection to preserve skin’s low natural reserves in squalene from UV oxidation and prevent long-term damages

- Preservation skin’s natural barrier function

The 100% mineral thus physical protection present in Photoderm PEDIATRICS MINERAL SPF50+ associates two mineral screens to provide a very high sun protection while allowing a smooth application that does not leave white marks on the skin.

They are highly protective, clean and safe for children’s skin. They allow our formula to be respectful of aquatic ecosystems, presenting no toxicity on coral, microalgae and freshwater plankton.

Body and face

RECOMMENDATIONS FROM HEALTH PROFESSIONALS: keep babies and young children out of the sun. Encourage children to wear appropriate clothing to protect them from the sun (T-shirt, sunglasses, hat) and reserve the use of the product for uncovered areas.

BIODERMA’S RESPONSE: despite all precautions, babies can be unavoidably and involuntarily exposed to UV rays, which is why we propose a sun care product that protects them while respecting the balance and development of their skin.

  • Step 1 Apply generously before unavoidable sun exposure (a small amount of product lowers the level of sun protection).
  • Step 2 Reapply frequently.
  • Step 3 After exposure, cleanse with Atoderm Shower Oil and hydrate with Atoderm Intensive Balm

Keep babies and young children out of the sun. Encourage children to wear protective clothing and use the product on uncovered areas. Over exposure to the sun can damage the health. Do not stay too long in the sun.  Avoid contact with fabrics.
