SUN BARRIER TECHNOLOGY IMAGE
Protects babies and children's delicate skin's self-defense

High technology sun protection was tailored to protect babies and children's delicate skin's self-defense abilities under sun exposure.

This technology combines UV filters, Vitamin E (naturally present in the skin) and apricot kernel oil (providing biomimetic lipids) to provide a triple protection:

- Broad spectrum UV protection, optimized against short and long UVA

- Antioxidant protection to preserve skin's low natural reserves in squalene from UV oxidation and prevent long-term damages

- Preservation of skin's natural barrier function

FAQ

Your most frequently asked questions about PEDIATRICS Mineral SPF50+

The sun’s rays can damage the skin in many ways from sunburn and premature ageing to allergies, cellular damage and an increased risk of skin cancer. During prolonged or repeated sun exposure, the body’s natural defence mechanisms are not enough, making external protection essential. Applying sunscreen to all exposed areas, along with wearing protective clothing, a ha, and sunglasses, helps prevent both short- and long-term skin damage. The simple answer: everyone, at every age. Sunscreen is especially important for: Babies and children, whose skin is highly vulnerable and not yet equipped to defend themselves from UV damage. Fair-skinned individuals, who burn more easily and need protection even during short exposures. People with darker skin, who are also at risk of long-term damage, since every person has a limited “sun capital” that depletes over time. For complete care, it’s also recommended to use an after-sun product to rehydrate and soothe the skin after sun exposure.

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor and is always followed by a number, such as SPF15, SPF30, SPF50 or SPF50+. This number indicates the level of protection against UVB rays, which are the main cause of sunburn. The higher the SPF, the greater the protection. In theory, the SPF number tells you how much longer your skin can be exposed to UVB rays before burning. For example, if unprotected skin begins to redden after 15–20 minutes, an SPF30 product could extend this time by a factor of 30. However, in real life, factors such as swimming, sweating, sand and towel-drying reduce this protection. That’s why it’s essential to reapply sunscreen regularly and use a generous amount. Also remember that SPF only refers to UVB protection for complete defence,
